Bettyann | designer at tiny sugars personalized mothers bracelets and jewelry
Born in New Jersey and later raised in Florida, Bettyann’s influences are eclectic and
warm. The youngest of three sisters, her creativity blossomed early as she mixed and
matched her sisters’ sometimes tattered and often out-of-style hand-me-downs. This
continued into college where Bettyann frequently swapped clothing and jewelry with
her sorority sisters at Troy State in Alabama.
Bettyann began her professional career as a young childhood educator (3rd grade
teacher) in Florida. Marrying her high school sweetheart in ‘94, she continued to
teach as they moved from Florida, to Texas, and then to Ohio. The family moved
again to Minnesota before finally settling down in southwest Ohio. Bettyann now has
two beautiful and very creative daughters that coordinate their own outfits and create
an endless array of their own accessories. On a good day, their clothes match. But
usually, one of them is learning that mixing several shades of the same color – a
baby blue shirt, a bright blue skirt and turquoise socks with red and yellow stripes –
generally don’t match.
In 2006, Bettyann introduced Tiny Sugars – her family’s expression for showing
tenderness, love and appreciation. Tiny Sugars represents the tiny kisses when a mom
tucks her daughters in at night, the warm embrace between sisters, the devotion and
admiration between a daughter and her mother and the close bond between good
friends.
Each item expresses Bettyann’s passion for family, friends and celebrating life. Enjoy
